At our 4H meeting today the kids discussed Food Safety. Here the instructor, Gail, is showing them what happens when you cut one food (apples) on a cutting board and then do something else without cleaning it (chicken) and how the germs can get transferred. She shared many other food safety tips as well.
They also had a hands-on workshop of making their own chocolate candy. Needless to say, they had a fantastic time!
